Crafting Access
Heritage, Crafts and Inclusion
For as long as records have existed we know that people have made things. To make something is an expression of the self and of humanity.
There are many reasons why we produce things – for survival, for safety, for creative expression, for fun – and we use whatever materials we can find. Crafts are living heritage. They are the shared language of societies and peoples, of landscapes and cultures. They are a celebration of diversity in all its forms.

With thanks to Cultural Heritage without Borders in Bosnia and Herzegovina and all the individuals that took part in the activities within the
Crafting Access programme.
Huge thanks to the Stavros Niarchos Foundation who generously funded this amazing project
