BMN Steering Board meeting took place in the period 21 – 24 June 2015, in Strp near Kotor (Montenegro). The topics that were discussed concerned activities of BMN and planning for 2016. It was decided that BMN objectives for 2016 will be focusing activities to these five topics: Access and inclusivity and the social role of museums; Interpretation and communication that would put the museum collections in the context and show the multiple voices enabling museums to become the social agents; Leadership and mentorship for strengthening the middle and top museum management; The role of museums in the policy making process; Risk preparedness of museums. Very exciting draft programme for the next ‘Meet, See, Do 2016’ Balkan Museum Network annual conference was made and please reserve the date 13-15 April 2016 for the conference!

As part of the meeting, Steering Board has visited a new member of the Network – Museum of the town of Perast.
