Cultural Heritage without Borders and Balkan Museum Network are proud to announce the opening of applications for the museum conference on access and inclusion „Balkan Museums without Barriers“ that will take place in Sarajevo on Oct 28th – 29th, 2014.
This conference will offer interactive workshops, keynote presentations, networking opportunities and an ‘ideas market’. It will mark the end of an intensive period of investment from Cultural Heritage without Borders, funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, into access and inclusion in the Region’s museums and we will be handing responsibility for the work back to professionals in the Western Balkans. A detailed conference programme will be sent to you 2 weeks before the conference.
This call is directed towards museum and heritage professionals, as well as individuals and NGO involved with the topic of persons with disabilities. For selected participants from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYROM, Kosovo, Montenegro and Serbia accommodation and transport will be provided.
