Meet, See, Do 2026 – International Museum Conference That Makes the Difference

28–29 October 2026 | The Museum of Herzegovina, Trebinje

The Balkan Museum Network (BMN) invites museum and heritage professionals from the Balkan region to take part in Meet, See, Do 2026, a two-day international conference.

The programme includes two keynote speeches by leading experts, three panel discussions, and a choice of workshops from twelve sessions running in parallel across four time slots. Full details on speakers, panel topics, and workshop leaders are available on the conference website.

Space is limited, and applications will close once capacity is reached. Early application is encouraged to secure your spot.

Participation Details

  • Attendance is free of charge.
  • Refreshments and a light lunch are provided on both conference days.
  • Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation in Trebinje.
  • The working language of the conference is English; no translation will be provided.
  • A maximum of two people per institution may attend.
  • Participants select one workshop for each of the four parallel sessions (four workshops in total), from a programme of twelve.
  • Participants have the option to bring a poster and take part in the poster session. Access full guidelines for poster presentations.

How to Apply

Applications are submitted through the online registration form as Google Form HERE

You will be asked to provide:

  • Email address
  • First name(s) and surname(s)
  • Contact telephone number
  • Country and town of residence
  • Institution/organisation and your position within it
  • Whether you are a BMN member
  • A short statement (200–500 words) on how the knowledge, skills, and contacts gained at Meet, See, Do will benefit you and your professional work
  • Your workshop selections for parallel sessions 1–4
  • Whether you would like to take part in the poster session
