Meet, See, Do 2017 – Call for Applications

If you are from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia*, and are passionate museum and heritage professional apply to ‘Meet, See, Do’ conference.

Prishtina (Kosovo) will host the fifth museum conference and 100 museum and heritage professionals coming from the Balkan region!

During intensive three days we will discuss:

  • Access and inclusion in museums
  • Building networks of and for museums
  • Successful communication strategies for museums
  • Digitization in museums
  • Learning in museums
  • Economic value of museums

Application deadline is 10 February 2017 at midnight (CET).

Selected participants will be asked to pay the conference fee of 50 EUR. Conference fee covers transportation cost from the main city in your country to Pristina, 4 nights BB in a hotel, 3 conference lunches and one conference dinner. Conference fee needs to be paid before the conference via bank transfer either by the institution you are representing or by you personally.

It is possible to receive free participation at ‘Meet, See, Do’ conference, but please note that BMN has very limited resources for scholarships and only few individuals will be awarded one based on the justification and motivation provided.

The conference language is English.

‘Meet, See, Do’ is organized by the Balkan Museum Network and Museum of Kosovo, through Cultural Heritage without Borders Bosnia and Herzegovina. ‘Meet, See, Do’ conference is funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

*For participants from Croatia and Bulgaria we are not able to organize transportation to Prishtina.
