We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity at The Headley SEE Cultural Heritage Fund, a promising initiative launched in February 2024 to foster the preservation and engagement with Southeast Europe’s (SEE) cultural heritage. The Fund, funded by the Headley Trust UK and administered by BMN, aims to increase the capacity of young people, communities, heritage professionals, and third sector organizations, support partnerships between public and civil society organizations, and enhance regional cooperation and understanding.
Position Overview
Title: Assistant to Coordinator
Program: The Headley SEE Cultural Heritage Fund
Period: April 2024 – December 2025 (21 months, with a three-month probation period)
Working Hours: 20% working time – 10 hours per week
Salary: 550 BAM (approx. 281 EUR) net monthly
Role and Responsibilities
The Assistant to Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the Fund’s objectives. Before the signing of contracts with grantees, the Assistant will help disseminate public calls, promote them in media and among partners, explain guidelines to applicants, and assist in organizing webinars. During project implementation, responsibilities include document management, application review for compliance, and grant implementation monitoring. Reporting duties encompass ensuring timely grantee reports and drafting outcome reports.
Who Should Apply
Ideal candidates will possess a deep knowledge of re-granting procedures, an ability to work independently and remotely, a commitment to deadlines, and a passion for cultural heritage in the Balkan region. Tidiness, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a university degree are also required. Previous experience with Project Cycle Management (PCM) is highly beneficial.
