GoGreen Consortium invites you to the
Preventive Conservation Platform HERIe Workshop
Date: 22–23 April 2026
Place: National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo
The digital decision-supporting platform HERIe (https://herie.pl/) offers remote access to data manipulation tools and quantitative assessments of risks
to heritage assets.
HERIe was developed in collaboration with the Getty Conservation Institute,
Canadian Conservation Institute, English Heritage, and University College London.
HERIe is the most frequently used digital tool, currently with 3100 users
from 50 countries.
The free workshop will focus on damage functions developed within the GoGreen project and HERIe modules describing:
mechanical damage due to environmental variations,
chemical degradation,
light damage,
estimation of pollutant levels in rooms and showcases,
design of showcases for RH control,
risk of fire,
automatic climate classification according to ASHRAE.
The hands-on workshop will illustrate how to use the platform to support conservators and museum professionals in the sustainable preservation
of collections, as well as how to use it as a didactic tool for students.
Fill the registration form by the 10th of March and join us for a two-day workshop in Sarajevo!
Please note that selected participants are responsible to organise and fund their own travel and accommodation costs. After the selection process, we will provide recommendations for affordable recommendation.
