Dr Selma Rizvić is Professor of Computer Graphics at the University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Computer Science. She is the Head of the Laboratory for Computer Graphics – Sarajevo Graphic Group; Founder of the SARAJEVO CHARTER for interactive digital storytelling. Her research areas are Computer Graphics, Computer animation, Virtual Heritage, Multimedia, Virtual Reality, Motion Graphics, Interactive Digital Storytelling, Virtual Museums, Digital Humanities. She participated in many EU project, the most recent ones being: EACEA Creative Europe StecakLand, DIGI.BA, coordinator, 2023-2025; EACEA Creative Europe SHELeadersVR, DIGI.BA, coordinator, 2022-2025; EACEA ERASMUS+ International Master in Virtual Reality Production (IMVRP), Sarajevo School of Science and Technology, coordinator, 2022-2023: EACEA Creative Europe Real Heroes, coordinator for DIGI.BA, 2020-2023: CA COST Action CA16213 New Exploratory Phase in Research on East European Cultures of Dissent, Management Committee Member, 2017-2021; Horizon 2020 project i-MARECULTURE – Advanced VR, iMmersive serious games and Augmented REality as tools to raise awareness and access to European underwater CULTURal heritagE, coordinator for University of Sarajevo, 2016-2019.

Bojan Mijatovic is currently working as graduate teaching assistant at the Faculty of Game Design and Development and Sarajevo Film Academy, Sarajevo School of Science and Technology. He holds Masters degree of Communicology as of 2015. He is involved at Sarajevo Film Academy from 2013 where he first worked as Lab coordinator and Teaching assistant afterwards. Bojan has a great passion for new technologies and throughout his work he was always closely working with different IT departments at different par-time jobs like Al Jazeera and Hyundai. He explores new possibilities of media, digital narration and storytelling. Exploration in new media led him to DIGI.BA organization founded by professor Selma Rizvic where he worked with the organization on the project H2020 iMARECULTURE and after the project he fully joined DIGI.BA working as Production assistant, cinematographer, sound recordist and equipment coordinator. Working with DIGI.BA led to numerous projects on which he worked in different roles. His research also expands and continues through works with Digital media center as well as other research labs and groups. He participated in many EU project, the most recent ones being: Horizon 2020 iMARECULTURE project; Roman Heritage in Balkans project (Part 1 & Part 2); VR Mostar cliff diving; Sarajevo War Tunnel VR;Virtual Museum of Old Crafts; Creative Europe: Real Heroes; Museum “Bitka za ranjenike” VR.

The webinar aims to provide practical knowledge and inspiration for embracing digital innovation in the museum sector and is part of the SHIFT project (Metamorphosis of Cultural Heritage Into Augmented Hypermedia Assets for Enhanced Accessibility and Inclusion) that is being funded by the European Union Horizon Europe program.
