We invite all institutional members to take part in a short survey on digital competencies and digitisation efforts.
Why is this important?
Digital transformation is becoming a crucial part of museum and heritage work. Through this survey, we aim to gather insights that will help us:
- Assess the current state of digitisation among BMN member museums,
- Identify institutions interested in training and capacity building, especially in relation to sharing content within the Europeana ecosystem,
- Design future training activities based on real needs,
- Better understand how museums are responding to digital challenges and opportunities in the cultural heritage sector.
🕒 Estimated time to complete the survey: 5–10 minutes
📅 Deadline for submission: May 30, 2025 (extended)
🔒 All responses will remain confidential.
What does the survey cover?
The survey includes questions about:
- your level of digital competence,
- current digitisation efforts in your institution,
- online availability of digital collections,
- familiarity with key digital frameworks and tools,
- your training priorities and needs for future development.
